Office of Education and Research Innovation

The Office of Education Innovation was started in 1969 under the name Center for Audiovisual Education. As media became widely used, it was restructured into the Educational Media Center in 1994. In 1998, the Center for Multimedia Education was launched to take exclusive charge of multimedia and online-based education. To provide general services for education, it merged with the Center for Teaching and Learning in 2008, and the Institute for Teaching and Learning was found. With a history of long tradition and professionalism, our organization has now been restructured as the Office of Education Innovation under direct university presidential control consisting of two subparts – the Center for Excellence in Teaching and the Center for Future Innovation, to meet our goals of sharing and reproducing knowledge.

Center for Future Innovation

The Center for Future Innovation opened on April 1st, 2019 to execute “The Innovation Program for College Development” of the Ministry of Education and direct other “University Funding” programs. The center also provides its own programs including the “Ewha Challenge Semester Program”, “LEAP Small Group Program” and “TELOS Track Program”.
