Ewha Womans University Technology Holdings Co., Ltd. signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Shinhan Bank (President and CEO Jeong SangHyuk) on Thursday, August 20, in the small conference room of the Main Building of Ewha Womans University, establishing a “Strategic Partnership to Support the Growth of Innovative Technology Startups.”

The agreement was established to link Ewha Womans University Technology Holdings’ strategy of “inclusive
investment and growth support” with Shinhan Bank’s strategy of expanding “productive finance.” Through the partnership, the two organizations will establish a comprehensive growth support system covering the entire startup lifecycle, from identifying promising startups to investment, incubation, and scale-up.
Ewha Womans University Technology Holdings will identify promising prospective entrepreneurs and innovative technology startups and provide investment and incubation support. Shinhan Bank will provide companies recommended by Ewha Womans University Technology Holdings with opportunities to participate in the accelerating programs of Shinhan Future’s Lab and Shinhan Square Bridge, opportunities to participate in TIPS in partnership with Shinhan Venture Investment, as well as financial, management, and financial consulting.
Seo JiHee, CEO of Ewha Womans University Technology Holdings, said, “By connecting Ewha Technology Holdings’ capabilities in identifying, investing in, and supporting the commercialization of startups with Shinhan Bank’s productive finance infrastructure, we will build a substantial cooperative model that provides practical support for the scale-up of startups.”
