Professor Eunah(Una) Hong is a faculty member specialising in Sport Management and Policy in the Division of Kinesiology and Sport Studies, College of Science and Industry Convergence, at Ewha Womans University. Her research interests are outlined below. Drawing on extensive domestic and international experience in sport - as a FIFA international referee, Vice President of the Korea Football Association, member of FIFA and AFC committees, and referee technical instructor - she is committed to teaching and research that bridge academic theory and professional practice.

The Sport Management and Policy Lab analyzes major issues and emerging developments in the domestic and global sport industries and sport policy, while exploring academic and practice-oriented solutions for the advancement of the sport sector. Depending on their individual interests and career goals, students may develop their research capabilities or acquire the professional knowledge, problem-solving skills, and practical perspectives required for careers and entrepreneurship in the sport industry.

I warmly welcome enquiries from prospective postgraduate students seeking to advance their academic knowledge, professional expertise, and leadership potential in sport. Women from diverse international and cultural backgrounds are especially encouraged to get in touch, as are industry professionals and former athletes. Students will have opportunities to pursue globally relevant research in a supportive and internationally minded academic environment. Supervision and academic guidance are available in English.
