Professor Jin-Heung Kim is a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry and Nano Science at Ewha Womans University. He is a well-known scientist for inorganic chemistry, more specifically artificial photosynthesis and chemical sensors. He received Ph.D. in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Minnesota and worked as researcher at the Univ. of North Carolina. His research interest is focused on Electrochemical and fluorescence sensing of metal ions, small molecules, proteins, and DNA, electrochemical and photochemcial regeneration of biological cofactors and hydrogen production using metal nanoparticles and metal complexes. He published about 100 SCI papers including JACS and Angew Chem.
