Minsik Choi Professor

Department of Social Studies Education/Behavioral Socioeconomics

  Professor Minsik Choi is teaching various economics course in Department of Social Studies Education and Behavioral Socioeconomics Program in Graduate School. He has earned his doctoral degree in Economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2002. He has taught in Economics Department at the University of Massachusetts Boston as an assistant professor before he joined the faculty of Ewha Woman’s University in 2006. His major research interests include labor economic issues and experimental economics. 
  He has published research articles such as “Time Preferences and Adolescent Internet Addiction“ (co-authored) and “The Threat Effect of Foreign Direct Investment: The Case of Korean Manufactures“ and He has contributed to the book edited by Pranab Bardhan, Samuel Bowles and Michael Wallerstein,  Globalization and Egalitarian Redistribution (2006, Princeton University Press).
