College of Art and Design Organizes Design Competition and Student Exhibitions

From December 23, 2019 through February 2020, the College of Art and Design (Dean: Cho Jae-kyung) hosts exhibitions of student projects which won the design competition held as part of providing the Ewha Art Pavilion space.
The design competition was organized to provide space for communication for Ewha students to develop diverse projects in the Ewha Art Pavilion, opened in May 2019 near the main gate, and to give an opportunity to create and enjoy culture and arts.
The competition was open to current students at Ewha for two months. A number of diverse and meaningful project plans by individuals and groups were submitted, and ultimately, a total of four teams were selected after being reviewed by the College of Art and Design Steering Committee.
Starting from “Traditional Observing Relation – Opening Studio” by Lim Chae-rim, student at the Department of Philosophy, “A short Stroll by Dreamers” by the Ewha Cinema-tech Club, “Residual Flow” by the Department of Content Convergence at the College of Science & Industry Convergence and “Design for Sustainable Futures (Media Café),” an interactive media art exhibition by the Department of Media Art and Design at the College of Art and Design are scheduled to take place.
