The Asian Center for Women’s Studies at Ewha Womans University is hiring a post-doctoral researcher for our project titled “Race and Gender: Global Korea, Neo-Racialization and Intersectionality.” This project is a part of the Institute Programs in Humanities & Social Sciences, National Research Foundation of Korea.
1. Job Descriptions
· Employment Period: January 1, 2024, to May 31, 2024 (In accordance with the period of Institute Programs in Humanities & Social Sciences, National Research Foundation of Korea)
· Salary: An annual salary of 40 million KRW or more (inclusive of four major insurance benefits, including institutional charges and severance pay)
· Place of Work: Asian Center for Women’s Studies, Ewha Womans University (Yeonghak-gwan, 52, Ewhayeodae-gil, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea)
· Duties: Publish a minimum of two research papers annually related to this project in journals indexed in a foundation (or candidate journals for foundation indexing).
· Tasks:
1) Contribute to the research theme of “Race and Gender.”
2) Organize academic events and publications and prepare project reports, etc.
2. Minimum Qualifications
· Holds a Ph.D. degree.
· Demonstrates expertise in the humanities and social sciences with the capability to conduct research on “Race and Gender.”
· Must be available for international business trips and open to appointments in a research position.
