[Academic] Excused Absence Policy during COVID-19 Outbreak

According to the excused absence policy under the COVID 19 Red Alert circumstance, Please refer to the table below.
Category | Entrant from overseas | Students who have either diagnosed, suspected or symptom of COVID 19 | Vaccinated person |

Submission rules | Documents can be scanned. Original documents are necessary when the professor requests it. As a rule, documents need to be submitted within the 2 weeks of occurrence of the case, yet it can be extended under unavoidable circumstances. | ||
The period of excusing the absences | Two weeks from the day of entry. | Until the medical institute officially confirm to release the state of quarantine. But it can’t be more than 3 weeks. (when it is over 3 weeks, students may take leave of absence for medical reason) | Two days from the day of vaccination. |
※ If abnormal reactions continue after the next day of vaccination, the absence will be treated as 'absence for illness' according to University regulation Article 40 Paragraph 2 Subparagraph 1 (In case of serious illness). Student needs to submit relevant document to support her absence such as Doctor's note etc.)
