Ewha Produced Two Successful Candidates from the 43rd Diplomatic Service Exam

According to the final round results of the 43rd Diplomatic Service Examination announced on June 22, Kim Ah-Young and Kim Bo-ram from Political Science & International Relations major have become successful candidates.
20 out of 41 final successful candidates are women, which is 48% of the total candidates, showing decreased rate than last year's 66%. However, Ewha has produced two successful candidates for two consecutive year this year.
Kim Ah-Young said, "Double majoring Political Science & International Relations and Economics and the experience of exchange student helped me prepare for the exam a lot. I want to become an Asia-Pacific economic cooperation expert." Another successful candidate Kim Bo-ram said, "I could reaffirm my dream of becoming a diplomat in my freshmen year when I attended the special lecture of Oh Young-Ju who is a Ewha Alumni diplomat." She added that living in Soseul residence, the dormitory for students preparing for bar exam helped her study more efficiently.
Ewha has produced 14 women diplomats since 1988.
