Under this MOU, the ERITS will provide a pool of translation and interpretation staff, mainly the students in Korean-English interpretation major at the GSTI, for the Winter Youth Olympic Games Gangwon 2024. It will be an opportunity for GSTI students to gain work experience at an international sports event like the Olympics.

Since August, students have provided interpretation services as short-term staff for meetings with the IOC members and stadium inspection. As of January 2024, students will provide interpretation and translation services during the Olympics, staying in Gangwon Province.
