Establishes foundation for collaboration to strengthen university-industry cooperation in the digital healthcare field and advance the “Ewha Balance” program

신산업융합대학, ㈜휴레이포지티브와 상호협력 업무협약 체결The Smart Living Research Center of the College of Interdisciplinary Industry Studies signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on mutual cooperation with Huray Positive Co., Ltd., a digital healthcare company, at Ewha Womans University on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 11 a.m. The agreement aims to strengthen university-industry cooperation in the digital healthcare field, foster interdisciplinary talent, and advance the jointly operated “Ewha Balance” program.


The “Ewha Balance” program is a personalized health management service developed by the Smart Living Research Center to promote healthy lifestyle habits among Ewha members and is operated using Huray Positive’s digital healthcare platform. The program provides data-driven integrated health management features such as personalized health to-do lists, overall health management covering diet, physical activity, emotional well-being, and sleep, feedback through weekly reports, and online/offline health challenges.

신산업융합대학, ㈜휴레이포지티브와 상호협력 업무협약 체결Present at the signing ceremony were Dean Kim Yuri of the College of Interdisciplinary Industry Studies, Director Ahn Seongbok of the Smart Living Research Center, CEO Choi Dua of Huray Positive, Director Park Jeongwoo, and the Ewha Balance operations team. The attendees engaged in extensive discussions on joint research, practice-oriented educational programs, technology exchange, and strategies for creating social value.


Through this agreement, the two institutions plan to carry out practical collaborative initiatives, including research cooperation in digital healthcare and data-driven studies, joint development of university-industry-linked educational programs, student internships and capstone project operations, and joint research and technology exchange. In particular, they will also collaborate on the continuous advancement and broader dissemination of the “Ewha Balance” program.


Director Ahn Seongbok of the Smart Living Research Center stated, “This agreement marks a meaningful step toward academia and industry jointly leading changes in future society,” adding, “The synergy between Ewha Womans University’s interdisciplinary educational capacity and Huray Positive’s expertise is expected to enhance the health of Ewha members and drive innovation in digital healthcare.”
