Ewha Womans University University-Industry Cooperation Foundation Signs MOU to Support Startup Growth N

On Friday, June 13, 2025, Ewha Womans University’s University-Industry Cooperation Foundation signed a three-party Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Webcash Co., Ltd. and IBK Industrial Bank of Korea to support the growth of startup companies. The agreement mainly includes ▲establishing practical cooperation models and business linkage through MOU ▲developing plans actionable for proposing and enhancing services for startups ▲sharing strategies to build sustainable partnerships.


The signing ceremony was attended by Ewha representatives including Vice President for Research and External Affairs Park Jeong-Soo, Director of the Industry-University Cooperation Foundation Jo Wil-Ryeom, Director of the Startup Support Center Kim Sang-Jun, and Team Leader of the Startup Support Center Jeong Ji-Yeon. Representing Webcash Co., Ltd. were CEO Kang Won-Joo and CNS CEO Hong Seong-Min, while IBK Industrial Bank of Korea was represented by Head of Corporate Clients Group Lee Geon-Hong and Head of Corporate Digital Business Department Kim Soo-Won.


Vice President Park Jeong-Soo mentioned, “This agreement marks not just a mutual cooperation effort, but also an initial step in building a solid foundation for the sustainable growth of startups. Ewha Womans University will continue to play a leading role in startup support and industry-academia cooperation.”

During the ceremony, the participants shared a vision in common and agreed to work together on carrying out actionable measures that will bring benefits to startups. Ewha plans to continue expanding its support for startups through collaborations with various external organizations and will strive to nurture a sustainable startup ecosystem.
