TheArts and Culture Educatorcertification system is a national qualification that finds professionals with both artistic expertise and educational competence. Certified arts and culture educators, as defined under relevant cultural education legislation, are qualified to work in public institutions such as performance venues, museums, and art galleries. Their roles are also needed in both the public and private sectors where arts and culture education are crucial.
Established in 2013 as a Level 2 certification training institution for arts and culture educators, Ewha’s Institute for Arts and Cultural Education has now trained more than 2,000 participants annually. Through its efforts to enhance the expertise of arts and culture educators and to build a sustainable ecosystem for arts education, the Institute continues to bring social value and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of cultural education.
