As part of the event, the newly renovated Seoam Digital Media Production Center was also introduced. Established in 2002 with support from the Yoon Se Young Foundation for Culture, the center serves as a digital production facility affiliated with the Department of Communication & Media. Following its recent upgrade, it is now equipped with cutting-edge 4K camcorders, VR audio equipment, immersive media production systems, and a one-person broadcast studio. Ewha stated that the renewal of the center will significantly strengthen students’ creative capabilities and foster the development of practice-oriented talent suited to the digital content industry.

The keynote speech was delivered by Sora Shin (Class of ’11, Advertising and PR), Manager at Gmarket and Auction. Speaking from her experience as a "working professional and creator," she discussed personal branding, strategies for diversifying one's career using digital platforms, and the evolving role of the creator. Shin emphasized, "Being a creator today is both a profession and an identity demanded by the times. It is a crucial way to express oneself sustainably in the digital era."

In the panel discussion and Q&A session that followed, Ewha graduate students and mega-influencers Jia and Deokhwa, each with over a million followers, shared candid insights based on their own experiences. They discussed establishing a creator identity, the realities of platform management, challenges in content production, and visions for the future.

A representative from the College of Social Sciences, which organized the event, remarked, "We hope that the vivid stories shared by creators who are expanding their careers in diverse ways will help students concretize their own career paths."

The Department of Communication & Media will continue to foster next-generation female leaders with creative expertise through interdisciplinary education and practice-based learning, aiming to establish itself as a leading educational hub for driving the sustainable growth of the K-content industry.
