Professor Jeong Jae-hun of Law School Won the Grand Prize at the Korean Bar Association Contest

Professor Jeong Jae-hun of Ewha Womans University Law School won the Korean Bar Association Grand Prize at the 32nd Lawyers’ Contest for the Rule of Law, held at Lottle Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, on August 26th.
The contest brings lawyers from across the country together to discuss ways to realize the rule of law, review and analyze legislative, judicial, and administrative matters, and present findings both domestically and internationally. This year’s 32nd contest featured various discussions, debates, academic symposiums, lectures, and training sessions under the theme of “The Role and Challenges of Lawyers In Rapidly Changing Society”. Additionally, there were awarding ceremonies such as the 55th Korean Legal Culture Award, the Korean Bar Association Academic Award, and the Excellent Journalist Award.
The Korean Bar Association has been granting academic awards since 2020 to recognize outstanding papers and encourage research activities among its members and legal researchers. This year, Professor Jeong won the Grand Prize for his paper titled “The Legal Standard on the Illegal Obstruction of Investigation of Monopoly Regulation And Fair Trade Act”.
