CUBIG Wins Global Innovator Award at NextRise 2024 Awards

CUBIG, an AI data specialist company, won the Global Innovator Award at South Korea's largest startup fair, NextRise 2024 Seoul, held from June 13th (Thursday) to 14th (Friday). Founded in 2021 by Professor Bae Ho of Ewha Womans University's Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence departments, CUBIG is a subsidiary of Ewha Technology Holdings.
NextRise is a comprehensive startup fair co-hosted by the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) and the Korea Development Bank (KDB) since 2019. CUBIG is recognized as a finalist for the Global Awards. The company was evaluated on its technology, business potential, and team competitiveness, ultimately winning the award.
CUBIG has launched the 'azoo' platform, which uses 'Differential Privacy' technology to allow users to create synthetic data that meets both security and performance standards with Drag & Drop method, without requiring any coding knowledge. The azoo platform, leveraging world-class differential privacy technology, offers a synthetic data integration and trading platform that maintains up to 99% performance compared to original data and can be directly used for AI training without additional preprocess.
Additionally, CUBIG has unveiled the DTS program, which facilitates the secure transfer of sensitive data between affiliates. By converting data into secure synthetic data through DTS, the traditionally complex and time-consuming data integration process can be completed within a few hours. This allows not only for AI training but also for the distribution of sensitive data that was previously restricted due to legal constraints.
Jung Min-chan, CUBIG's Co-CEO, showed his ambition by saying, "Based on this award, we plan to participate in various fairs, including NextRise, to expand the business of azoo and the DTS (SaaS) service. Our synthetic data algorithm maintains performance even when integrated with our proprietary generative AI and differential privacy technology."
Ewha University Technology Holdings aims to strengthen the startup ecosystem by supporting technology-centric startups from Ewha.
