On the 28th, Ewha Womans University signed an MOU for the ESG-community collaboration project "KBO NINE Season 2024 Beyond Region" with 25 universities across the country, the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO), and 10 professional baseball teams.

"KBO NINE Season 2024 Beyond Region" is an Industry Coupled Problem Based Learning (IC-PBL) program that began in 2022 and is now in its third year. It aims to solve on-the-spot problems through collaboration between universities and industries.

The main objective of this project is for university students to develop community-linked services that promote the ESG management activities of the 10 professional baseball teams. Starting with the MOU on the 28th, "KBO NINE Season 2024 Beyond Region" will run for four months until September. It includes a boot camp beginning on July 4th, team visits, online mentoring, value-up camps, and a performance-sharing session, all designed to enhance the students' capabilities. Based on the outcomes of the past two years, this year's program aims to identify issues more closely linked to the community, offering solutions in areas such as regional entrepreneurship, population retention, and environmental problems.
