Ewha Journalists Club Holds 2024 Annual General Meeting and Ewha Journalist Award Ceremony

Ewha Journalists Club, a group of Ewha Womans University alumnae working in journalism, held its "2024 Annual General Meeting and 24th Ewha Journalist Award Ceremony" on May 21 (Tuesday) at ECC Lee Sam-bong Hall. The MC for the event was JTBC announcer Song Min-kyo (English Language and Literature, Class of '06) and began with a welcoming speech by Ewha Journalists Club President Kim Sun-hee (English Education, Class of '93, YTN).


Ewha Journalists Club started in 1997, marking its 26th year, and serves as a network for alumnae in the fields of newspapers, broadcasting, and magazines. The event was attended by about 100 people, including Ewha Haktang Foundation Chairperson Chang Myong-sue, President Kim Eun-mi, Vice President for Academic Affairs Kim Jung-sun, Vice President for External Affairs Shin Kyung-sik, Medical Center Director Yoo Kyung-ha, Dean of Student Affairs Baek Eun-mi, Director of External Affairs and Development Park Min-jung, Director of Communications Office Bang Se-hoon, and faculty from the School of Communication and Media. They gathered to celebrate the Ewha Journalist Award recipients and to encourage the members.
