Ewha University-Industry Collaboration Foundation, Signing Agreement with Gyeongsang National University and Mahidol Uni

On March 29th (Friday), Ewha University-Industry Collaboration Foundation and Gyeongsang National University-Industry Collaboration Foundation signed a MOU at the Ewha Startup Open Space, to share startup support systems and infrastructure, and also to discuss entrepreneurship and cooperation strategies.

The signing ceremony was attended by Lee Jun-sung, Head of Ewha University-Industry Collaboration Foundation, Kim Sang-joon, Head of the Entrepreneurship Support Group, Jung Jae-woo, Head of Gyeongsang National University-Industry Collaboration Foundation, and Seong Sang-hyeon, Head of the Entrepreneurship Support Center, as well as other related officials. They discussed cooperation plans and signed the MOU. This agreement aims to strengthen collaboration between universities to create a virtuous cycle eco-system for startups and support the global expansion of promising startups.


The agreement focuses on utilizing each university's capabilities and resources for mutual benefit, including:
 1) Sharing human and material resources to enhance industrial cooperation, and utilizing facilities and infrastructure, 2) Jointly promoting projects among region, academia, and industry for the mutual development of both universities and regions, also expanding information sharing and exchange to establish cooperative networks, 3) Streamlining and enhancing the efficiency of entrepreneurship education and startup support programs through continuous cooperation, 4) Supporting the establishment of a cooperation system between the universities.


Additionally, both universities signed the MOU on April 9th (Tuesday) at the Ewha Startup Open Space to share startup support systems and infrastructure and discuss entrepreneurship support strategies.

The signing ceremony was attended by Kim Sang-joon, Yodchanan Wongsawat, and other related officials. They discussed cooperation plans and signed the agreement. This agreement aims to establish a cooperation system for entrepreneurship support between the two universities and foster mutual development in entrepreneurship education and support. It is expected to create a significant synergy effect.


Mahidol University is one of the most prestigious universities in Thailand, particularly renowned for its medical school. The iNT, which signed the agreement, is a division established to promote technology transfer, intellectual property (IP) licensing, portfolio management, and incubator services. It supports the development of research technologies into startups and seeks to expand networks with foreign accelerators and angel funds and venture builders focused on well-being and health.
