On May 22, 1986, in celebration of Ewha’s 100th anniversary, the Law Building was dedicated. This stone structure, consisting of one basement level and five floors above ground, is located to the left of the Centennial Library. Ewha’s legal education began in 1950 with the establishment of the Department of Law and reached a historic milestone in 1996 by founding the world’s first College of Law for women. Continuing this proud tradition, Ewha Law School has established itself as a leading institution for legal education, producing the top scorer in the 2025 Korean Bar Examination and ranking second nationwide in prosecutor appointments and fourth in judicial researcher appointments among law schools.
