Ewha University presented, ‘2014 Annual Banquet and Vision Proclamation Ceremony’ at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Hotel on Monday, November 24th. The ‘Annual Banquet’, hosted by the graduates' association, takes place every year, but this year, this honorary event was especially memorable and extraordinary with the introduction of the new vision of ‘Innovation Ewha: Leading Global Excellence’ in the Vision Proclamation Ceremony. The program's primary goal is to advance to the world’s top 200 universities by the year 2020.
During the ceremony, the vision of ‘Innovation Ewha: Leading Global Excellence’ and the following four strategies were presented: ▲Innovations in university organization, nurturing student potential, and infrastructure ▲Reinforcement of Ewha DNA(Dream and Achievement) network ▲Enhancing Ewha’s global brand value ▲Expanding social contribution and sharing.
In succession, Kyung Hee Choi, the president of Ewha University, along with the representatives of the professors, students, employees, and alumni concluded the ceremony with the announcement of Ewha's Vision: ▲Never-ending innovation ▲Daring hope ▲Warm affection ▲Openness and communication ▲Calling of time.
