Ewha Signs MOU with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Development Cooperation

Ewha established a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and began to pursue a progressive relationship between public institutions and academia for collaboration in the area of international development.
Ewha’s Graduate School of International Studies (Prof. Kim Eun-mi, Dean of GSIS) concluded a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Oh Youngju, MOFA Director-General for Development Cooperation. This formal agreement is designed to effectively correspond to a changing environment and recent trends in the discussion of international development and cooperation, while expanding the basis of support for better understanding towards policies for development and cooperation at home and abroad.
As the first cooperative program under the MOU, Ewha and MOFA will host an annual conference of the Busan Global Partnership at Ewha from November 6 to 7.
Titled “The Night of Ewha Diplomats,” a closing event was held after the ceremony to positive responses, as it allowed Ewha-educated diplomats to share with Ewha students their experiences and vision in the field of international diplomacy.
