Ewha’s College of Education Provides Training Programs on Korea’s Education and Culture to Visitors from Auburn University and the City of Auburn in the U.S.
From May 29 to June 3, Ewha’s College of Education hosted “Global Studies in Education: South Korea,” a training program provided for professors at Auburn University and education officials from the City of Auburn, Alabama, in the U.S.
This workshop was created by Auburn University and the Auburn City Schools Central Office, in partnership with Ewha, as a program to provide education-related figures in the region with an opportunity to experience Korea’s education system and culture.
A total of 13 participants attended lectures on Korea’s education and school life and visited educational institutions affiliated with Ewha to observe the school life of Ewha students. In the training program that encompassed both education and culture as its theme, the participants also had the opportunity to learn more about Korean culture.
