Ewha Global Startup Visit Program Fosters Spirit of Entrepreneurship at Ewha

Six selected teams returned in January from their visit to overseas startup companies, having been inspired by the strong spirit of entrepreneurship. Organized by the Ewha University-Industry Collaboration Foundation (EUICF), the Ewha Global Startup Visit Program is designed to support Ewha students to become global leaders by providing opportunities to expand their experience and knowledge in various countries’ culture, technology, history and cutting-edge science, thereby enhancing their capacity as startup entrepreneurs.
This year, a total of 11 students in six teams were offered opportunities to improve their startup skills in Spain, the U.S., Indonesia, France, the U.K., and China. Each team was hosted on on-site tours at leading startup companies in various fields, such as eco-friendly car rental services, party consulting, advertising and marketing communications, logistics systems, and social enterprises. Destinations for the program included a diverse range of locations across the U.S., Europe and Asia.
In addition to student support programs such as the Ewha Global Startup Visit Program, the EUICF provides university-industry programs to foster global female experts, striving to establish networks for university-industry cooperation in the strategic pursuit of mutual success across academia and industry.
