Ewha Womans University Medical Center Obtains the Hospital Accreditation from JCI

목동병원Ewha Womans University Medical Center(Director: Seo Hyun-Sook) has obtained the Hospital Accreditation from Joint Commission International(JCI), the international medical institution evaluation committee to join the Global Healthcare industry. Ewha expects it to be the stepping stone that will lead the hospital in becoming the hospital of global standard.

The Joint Commission International conducted the evaluation from July 4~8th and gave confirmation of the accreditation on July 18th. The center was evaluated on 1221 categories from the four evaluation standing members consisted of doctor, nurse, and professional medical administrators.

Ewha Womans University Medical Center has prepared for the certification for two years. by going through several simulation evaluations. Especially, Ewha Womans University Medical Center takes this opportunity to try its best to further improve the hospital with continuous innovative efforts and with a customer-oriented mindset in the future, ensuring that it continues to operate as a hospital that customers trust, and striving for ultimate customer satisfaction through comprehensive services.

This accreditation is the proof that Ewha Womans University Medical Center has and will continue to perform a fine range of services for patients using its accumulated experiences and strong knowledge in research, diagnosis and treatment. The accreditation is meaningful because it proves that the center is officially recognized as the hospital where patients are able to receive the best treatments in the environment safe from any dangers including infections from the hospital viruses.

Ewha Womans University Medical Center will continue to serve as an affiliated hospital to the medical department of the university, a unique case in Korea, and operate with continuous innovative management activities with the focus on customer-oriented management.
