Ewha Delivers Donation for Japan through the Korea National Red Cross

Ewha organized fundraising events to solicit donation for Japan, our neighbor country, suffering from the recent earthquake and the tsunami.
The account for the donation was opened on March 16. The faculty, students, and alumni have participated. The total amount of the donation was almost fifty-two million won. Lee Kyung-sook, the dean of academic affairs visited the Korea National Red Cross (KNRC) and delivered the donation on March 30.
The exchange students from Japan at Ewha also held the fundraising activity under the name of 'Prayer for Japan in Ewha'. In addition to the donation from the students and the school, the Office of University Relations and Development offered a dinner for Japanese students and president Kim Sun-Uk gave words of consolation for Japanese students studying at Ewha..
