Ewha Career Development Center Receives Excellence Award from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology
Ewha Career Development Center received the excellence award for 'Ewha Career Renaissance Certification Program' in best practice area from the '2010 Strengthening University Education Capacity Project' contest.
The contest for 'Strengthening University Education Capacity Project' was held in December 2010 with eighty-three participant universities. Fifty universities participated in the contest for education development program and thirty-three universities participated in the contest for career development programs.
Ewha Career Renaissance Certification Program is run by Ewha Career Development Center to foster students to become talents who are ready to adapt to their career fields. The program has been recognized for its originality and excellence in its integrated career certification that systemizes the career development program according to each career areas and levels. Ewha Career Development Center aims to help students decide their career in the early stage and achieve basic work skills, job professionalism, employment competency, and career leadership.
Thus, Ewha is now eligible for the support fund from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology for three consecutive years this year.
The students who have achieved over 3.0 GPA and have completed more than six Ewha Career Renaissance Certificate Programs will be awarded with the 'Ewha Career Renaissance Certificate'. They will also receive benefits such as recommendation priority when applying for jobs or internships, one on one career coaching, and other various activities held by the career development center.
