Ewha Career Forum Held
Ewha Career Development Center held the 'Ewha Career Forum: the Mutual Sharing and Communication for Ewha and Corporations' on January 12(Wed 5pm) at Lee San-Bong Hall, ECC.
About one hundred fifty people participated in the forum including one hundred guests from corporations and thirty Ewha students. The guests from corporations include Kim Sung-Hye, the CEO of Broader Partners, Moon Hyo-Eun, the Vice President of DAUM, Kim Sun-Hee, the general manager of Bank of Korea, Byun Yun-Bae, the executive director of Motorola, Hwang Jin-Sun, the director of Cheil Industries, Cho Hye-Sung, the director of LG Chemical, and Sul Geum-Hee, the director LG CNS.
Ewha Womans University president Kim Sun-Uk, executive vice president of academic affairs Lee Kyung-Sook and ten other vice presidents of Ewha Womans University attended the forum as well.
Professor Ham In-Hee, the director of Ewha Career Development Center presided at the forum. The forum consisted of the speeches, 'the Reverse Mentoring for Understanding the Digital Generation' by Joo Chul-Hwan, the director of the headquarters of JoongAng Daily, ‘the Introduction of Ewha's Education Programs for Fostering Outstanding Talents' by professor Ham In-Hee, and discussion between the participant students and guests from corporations. The forum gave chances to both of the participant groups to have a mutual understanding of currents needs of the corporations in finding potential employees in the digital generation era.
Through this forum, Ewha will solidify the establishment of industry-university cooperation system by applying the needs of the industries into its career development programs and continue to foster talents who can contribute to the society .
