Lunar New Years Day Festival for International Students Held

The students had the chance to play large sized yut, and jegi, the classic Korean games played on holidays. Dressed in Hanbok, the Korean traditional dress, students cooked and shared Korean traditional food like japchae, and rice-cake soup and experienced Korean traditional holiday. There was also a performance program during the festival and students boasted their singing and dancing to celebrate the New Year's Day.
President Lee Bae-Yong said in the congratulating speech, “We have prepared this event for the international students who are apart from their family to study in Korea. I hope this festival has provided a pleasant time to be united by experiencing Korean culture although we are all from different cultural backgrounds."
