International Chuseok Festival Held with 500 International Students
International Chuseok Festival was held in front of the student union building on October 6. 500 students from international graduate school, Ewha Language Center, and Ewha Global Partnership Program participated and had memorable time experiencing Korean traditional recreation like learning Taekwondo, playing the game of yut, trying on Korean traditional costume and so on.
Kevin Richardson, an exchange student from Michigan State University said, "As a student studying East-asian culture, it was very worthwhile for me experiencing the tradition of Korea." Fu Ziayin from Peking University said, "I could feel the sense of becoming a true member of Ewha community."
President Lee Bae-Yong said in the congratulating speech of the festival, “I hope that this festival becomes the occasion that harmoniously embrace and unite all languages and cultures and help people understand each other."
