Ewha-KOICA Master's Program is a three semester program, co-hosted by Ewha Graduate School of International Studies and KOICA to fosters future international experts needed for developing countries. The participants spent two semesters in Ewha and will finish the remaining thesis semester back in their home country. The participants studied and researched the Korean economic development model and discussed the cases of other advanced countries throughout the semesters. They have experienced Korean traditional culture as well by visiting the Korean folk town, making Kimchi and pottery, and learning the Korean traditional fan dance during their stay in Korea.

The Farewell Ceremony consisted of events such as ‘2008 Ewha-KOICA Video’, ‘Korean Traditional Fan Dance’, and ‘The Miss Ewha-KOICA Competition’, which revealed the friendship and amity among the students who have strived together through the past one year.

The 'Ewha-KOICA Master's Program' commenced in 2007 and produced 27 graduates last year. Presently, the graduates are playing roles as women leaders around the world in the field of woman issues and community development.
