Ewha Opens Bioethics Policy Research Library

Ewha Bioethics Policy Research Library opened at the 5th floor of Ewha Centennial Library on September 30th. It is the first and the only Special Library of Bioethics Policy in Korea.
The library accumulated approximately 2500 independent specialized volumes, 100 specialized movies concerning Bioethics Policy. The internet homepage of the library(www.bprc.re.kr) provides the lists of books the library possesses. Registered users are allowed to search 380 domestic and foreign statutes, 400 guidelines, and 110 reports online.
The Institute for Law & Bioethics of Ewha, the first Bioethics Policy Center established in Asia, was established for the purpose of studying all kinds of ethical, social, and legal issues that are aroused by the development of Life Science and advising solutions and policies. Equipped with both online and offline special library, it now has become the center of Bioethics in Korea.
