Workshop for 40th ‘Ewha Peace Buddy’

On August 13th, the workshop for a new buddy of “Ewha Peace Buddy” was hosted at the Ewha-Posco building.
Ewha Peace Buddy is an Ewha mentoring system offered by the OIA (Office of International Affairs). Participating buddies of this program help foreign exchange students adjust to their new environments and assist with their initial interaction with Korean students. By participating in various activities, the buddies are able to cultivate global mindsets needed in this era as well as make new friends in a different country.
Activities for the international students includes an airport pick-up service, a tour for students to get acquainted with Ewha's campus and the nearby Shinchon area, coordinating student hang-outs and events, providing academic help, and arranging cultural trips. Ewha Peace Buddy had been founded in 2003, and now 70 buddies including the 40th new buddy selected recently, has been on duty.
