Daniela Schadt, The First Lady of Germany, Pays A Visit to Ewha

On October 12th in Aryeong-dang, Daniela Schadt, the First Lady of Germany, was a presenter at the luncheon hosted by President Kyunghee Choi. Ms. Schadt is the domestic partner of the German President, Joachim Wihelm Gauck.
Ms. Schadt and President Gauck visited Korea to participate in the Korea-German Summit and engage in a discussion meeting with President Choi of Ewha, regarding Ewha's achievements and the guidance for global women leaders.
Christina Mafael, a wife of the German Ambassador in Korea and Isabel Lawrence, the first secetary of German Ambassador in Korea were presented at this luncheon. Ewha's participants included President Kyunghee Choi, Eun Mee Kim, a dean of GSIS; Pilwha Chang, a director of Asian Center for Women’s Studies; and Professor Thomas Kalinowski.
