Comprised of a welcome ceremony and orientation session, the event was begun with a welcome speech delivered by Park Ihn-hwi, Vice President for Office of International Affairs, to greet the new students to Ewha. The following sessions included a recital of Ewha students majoring in Korean music and a role play by PEACE Buddy. An official volunteering club under the Office of International Affairs, PEACE Buddy members serve as mentors to international exchange and visiting students and help them adapt to the life in Korea and at Ewha. The club staged a role play and received positive response by introducing a variety of support activities for international students. The orientation session offered tips for university life and education to prevent crimes and sexual harassment. Lastly, the international students took a campus tour around the buildings they would frequently visit during the semester.

The Office of International Affairs holds a welcome ceremony prior to each semester to greet incoming international students to Ewha and help them adapt to a new environment.
