Ewha Language Center Holds a Bazaar for UNICEF Children’s Education Fund

Ewha Language Center (ELC) held a bazaar to raise UNICEF Children’s Education Fund, called “The 3rd Sharing Happiness Bazaar”, on Tuesday, May 2, 2017.
In celebration of Ewha’s 131th anniversary and ELC Korean Language Program’s 30th anniversary, this year’s Sharing Happiness Bazaar was arranged to continue the spirit of sharing of those have been dedicated to Ewha for all those years. It was thronged with about a thousand people from overseas exchange students, international students, faculty and staff to ELC foreign students.
The bazaar provided goods donated by Ewha’s faculty and staff as well as partner corporations or institutions. It also ran food stands serving diverse foods and beverages prepared by ELC students from all over the world and various programs to promote donations.
All the proceeds from the 3rd Sharing Happiness Bazaar will be used for educational support projects run by UNICEF to help children in desperate need of access to education all around the world.
