Office of International Affairs Held “Get Together” Event for International Students
The Office of International Affairs held the “Get Together” event at the Lee San-bong Hall of the ECC building on May 22 to support mutual exchanges and academic activities for international students on their degree courses.
About 130 participants, including international students on degree courses at Ewha and mentors of Ewha Mate and Ewha Academic Assistance System for International Student, or EAASIS, who support new undergraduate students from foreign countries, shared various information about school life and interacted with each other.
In addition, the venue was set up with useful in-school program booths, including the Career Development Center, Student Counseling Center, Career Lounge and English Clinic, providing a wide range of information for international students. The Ewha International Student Associations of Chinese, Japanese, Thai and Malaysian also participated in the event with its members promoting its organization. There are approximately 1,630 international students enrolled in Ewha this semester, and the International Student Affairs Team plans to actively operate and support the EAASIA program to help their school affairs.
