Kyunghee Choi Professor

College of Medicine

Kyunghee Jung-Choi is Associate Professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine at Ewha Womans University in Korea. She received her PhD in Preventive Medicine from the University of Ulsan. She is a specialist of occupational and environmental medicine. Her major research interests are socioeconomic inequalities in health and gender and health. A more recent area of interest concerns monitoring of health inequalities and socioeconomic inequalities in breast cancer and suicide. Her books include Who Take Care of Care Workers? (2012, Hanul Press; in Korean), and The Political Economy of Workers’ Health (2012 & 2008, Hanul Press; in Korean, translation). She also published many articles both in English and Korean.
