Hyo-Hyun Sung Professor Emeritus
Prof. Hyo Hyun SUNG is a Professor in department of social studies education with a Ph. D. from university of california, riverside. With over 20years experience in Geomorphology and GIS field, she has published more than 50 research articles and books such as 「Delineating the spatial variation of sediment yield potential in the upper Santa Ana River Basin」, 「Activities on naming undersea features in Korea」, 「Environmental and geographical education for sustainability: Cultural contexts」 etc,. Her recent research interests include in naming of undersea features and natural hazard & disaster geography. Also she has served as a dean of graduate school of education in Ewha Womans University, a member of IHO/IOC- GEBCO Guiding Committee, and a president of the Korean Cartographic Association.
