Professor Hyung-Joong Won is initial authority in Leisure Studies & Services, also commentary at SBS Golf Channel.
He investigates leisure and how communiation and media shape the experience of people who wants to enjoy their life. His goal is to develop resources for creating and planning high-quality leisure programs and services in Korea society, including how a balance is struck between the needs of leisure and those of work. Prof. Won makes hard effort to breeding professonals in this field, so far.
Now He is serving as evaluation committee member of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and board member of Korea Sports Promotion Foundation. He has been participated in various projects about leisrue diffusion and talented education at sports. Also he, as the most prolific translater, has translated numerous golf specialized publications such as "Putting out of your mind","Golf is a game of confidence", Golf is not a game of perfect", etc.
