Jong Ku Kim Associate Professor
Sculpture
Kim graduated from Seoul National University, Seoul (B.F.A) in 1993 and Chelsea College of Art and Design, London (M.F.A) in 1996. Kim won Grand Prize at Korea National Grand Art Competition(1990) and Kim Se-Jung Memorial Prize for Young Artists(2002) and won more special prizes. Kim participated P.S.-1 International Studio Program (MoMA), New York from 2002 to 2003. Kim has exhibited widely in Europe and Asia, including the Gwangju Biennale (2006), Re-Imagining Asia, Berlin (2007), and private exhibitions 19 times at Kim Chong Yung Museum, Seoul, Korea and Spencer Museum, Kansas City, USA. He participate resident program in International Studio Program (MoMA) (2002-03). National Museum of Contemporary Art , Spencer Museum and posses in numerous institutions.
