Ewha Womans University Technology Holdings Co., Ltd. (Co-CEOs Seo Ji-hee and Cho William), together with the Ewha Womans University Startup Support Center (Director Kim Sang-jun), successfully held theStation Ewha (STATION EWHA) Batch Program Cohort 1 Demo Dayon Tuesday, November 18, at the ECC. The event was organized to discover outstanding startups and facilitate investment.
The Demo Day marked the culmination of a roughly two-month program for eight startups selected after recruitment began on September 15. During the program, participating companies completed training in commercialization strategies, pitch deck enhancement, and speech coaching before presenting to investors for fundraising. Notably, each participating company was paired one-on-one with an investor who is also a former entrepreneur, serving as a dedicated coach. This structure went beyond simple presentation preparation to provide practical coaching that addressed real investment perspectives and the challenges founders face throughout the startup journey.
At this first-ever Demo Day for the program, investor judges shared advice centered on key questions that early-stage startups must consider, offering company-specific feedback from an investor’s point of view. Following the presentations, an open networking session between investors and presenting companies provided opportunities to continue investment discussions beyond the event. Certificates of completion under the name of Ewha Womans University were awarded to the eight graduating startups—Repawblica, The Jinri, Lifescape, LogiPT, Modepick, BitBuddy, SeniorVibe, and Jinficial—officially marking the graduation of the inaugural cohort of the Station Ewha Batch Program.
Ewha Technology Holdings plans to execute SEED investments in selected high-performing graduates through consultations, targeting completion by the first half of next year. In parallel, the Ewha Womans University Startup Support Center will provide commercialization funding and on-campus office space, strengthening integrated support that connects technology, capital, and infrastructure.
Following the batch program, regular alumni events will be held to continuously expand networks among graduating cohorts, program coaches, and investors within the Ewha startup ecosystem. The program aims to ensure that the “Station Ewha” brand becomes a source of long-term competitive advantage for founders.
Representing the program’s operating institution, Seo Ji-hee, CEO of Ewha Womans University Technology Holdings, stated, “I extend my deepest gratitude and congratulations to the Cohort 1 companies for completing their first startup journey to the very end.” She added, “Ewha Technology Holdings will fulfill its role as a ‘business growth partner that is always by your side’ throughout every stage of your entrepreneurial journey.” She also expressed her hope that many promising future founders will show interest in and take on new challenges with the Station Ewha Batch Program next year.
