최경희 교수는 2008년 울산대학교에서 사회경제적 건강불평등을 주제로 박사학위를 받고 2009년부터 이화여대 의학전문대학원에 재직하고 있다. 직업환경의학과 전문의이다. 주요 연구분야는 사회경제적 건강불평등과 젠더와 건강 등이다. 최근에는 유방암과 자살에서의 사회경제적 건강불평등, 건강불평등 모니터링에 대한 연구를 진행 중이다. 전공과 관련된 유관 학회 및 학술지의 편집위원회에서 활동하고 있으며, 주요 저서로 『돌봄노동자는 누가 돌봐주나』(한울, 2012, 공저), 『노동자 건강의 정치경제학 2』(한울, 2012, 역서), 『노동자 건강의 정치경제학』(한울, 2008, 역서) 등과 다수의 국내 및 국제 논문이 있다.
