Dong-Youl Jeong Professor Emeritus
Dr. Dong-Youl Jeong is a professor of Library and Information Science Department in the School of Social Science. His research addresses issues in Theories of Information Science; Information Policy; and Research Methodology. He joined Ewha Womans University after his PhD from the School of Communication, Information and Library Studies at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in 1990. He served the Director of Ewha Womans University Central Library and the President of the Korean Society for Library and Information Science. Also he served a wide variety of social activities in diverse positions. He has published several research books including Introduction to Library and Information Science, Library Management, Theories in Library and Information Science, Research Methods in Library and Information Science, Glossary in Library and Information Science which are used widely in Korea, and more than 70 journal articles.
