Eun-Young Chah Professor
Department of Economics
Professor Eun Young Chah is an economics professor who is an expert at theory of consumption and saving under imperfect financial market. She obtained her Ph.D degree in Economics at University of California, San Diego. Aside from theory of consumption function and financial market, and macroeconomics policy, she also conducts research on family economics and gender economics. She held various positions such as president of the Korean Women Economists Association and vice president of the Korean Economic Association. For over 20 years she has been an active participant in various government commissions including president advisory council and national economic advisory council. Until present, she published total of 30 research papers on both distinguished domestic and foreign journals. She is also an author of 8 books such as <Consumption Economics> (Ore publication) and <In Search of Economic Frontier> (Leaders book publication).
