김원석 프로필 사진
Professor Won-Suk Kim is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry and Nano Science. Research program in his laboratory is focused on the exploration and application of new synthetic methods and technologies for organic synthesis. Through diversity-oriented synthesis, one of his goals is to find potential chemotherapeutics and small-molecules inhibitors, with a focus on designing compound libraries inspired by nature. He recieved his PhD from the Department of Chemistry at the Univeristy of Pennsylvania and worked in the Department of Chemistry at Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a postdoctoral fellow. He has employed at Ewha Womans University since 2012.
