Dr. Minsuk Kim is an assistant professor at Department of Pharmacology school of medicine. His research area is mostly diabetes & heart disease. Also he is trying to make a bioartificial heart using stem cells & extracellular matrix. He got PhD degree from University British Columbia and continued more researches with a postdoctoral position at Mt. Sinai Hospital (Toronto). Among 18 papers, five of them published as first author papers and they are two of diabetes, BBA, circulation research, and nature medicine. In addition, his research was published at Springer, pp 397-410, 2008 and the title is AMPK regulation of cardiac metabolism in heart disease.
