Prof. Sung-Chul Jung is teaching Biochemistry and Medical Genetics as a Professor of Biochemistry in College of Medicine. His main research subjects are sphingolipid metabolism, lysosomal storage diseases and neurometabolic diseases. He is also interested in development of cell and gene therapies for genetic diseases. He has attended and served several academic societies including Korean Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Korean Society of Inherited Metabolic diseases, Korean Society of Medical Genetics, Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society, and International Society of Cellular Therapy.
