Aeran Choi is a Professor in the Department of Science Education at Ewha Womans University. She earned her M.Ed in Science Education at Ewha Womans University and her Ph.D. in Science Education at University of Iowa. Her primary research interests include writing-to-learn science, arguments in scientific inquiry, and student use of multiple modal representations. She taught high school integrated science and chemistry for eleven years in Seoul, Korea before earning her Ph.D.
