Ewha’s Main Website Became More Convenient and Powerful
Ewha Womans University opened its new website on February 14. The Office of Information and Communications conducted Ewha’s Main Website Renewal Project in order to respond to a changing trend where more users access web services through mobile devices and increase brand value as one of the prestigious universities in the world.
The reorganized website is designed to maximize usability and accessibility by applying responsive web UI structure and design under the motto, Mobile First. It has also expanded mobile content and services, such as academic calendars and campus maps, and implemented a powerful search function to accurately provide data, which is scattered on the website and on-campus information system, in accordance with user needs.
The focus was placed on strengthening killer content to serve as a window for enhancing brand image and communication. In addition, by integrating content scattered on each online channel to the website, its function as an effective promotional tool has been enhanced.
In particular, the revamped website is developed in the Korean-English dual mode, offering the same service and content to English users. It is expected to serve as a global communication platform where people around the world interact and communicate with each other.
